I started doing hair and make-up because I genuinely believed I could do it better. Not arrogantly — just honestly. I had seen too many clients arrive at their most important moments having been let down by artists who were technically adequate but emotionally absent. Artistry is not just technique. It is presence, care and an almost obsessive attention to what each individual client actually needs.
Twenty years later The Make-Up Box is the only thing of its kind in the UK. A fully equipped luxury mobile studio that travels to every client, for every occasion. Weddings, editorial shoots, corporate events, private clients — the studio arrives and the experience begins. I built it because I wanted my clients to feel extraordinary in their own space, on their own terms, without compromise.
